Abstract
V diplomskem delu je opisana izdelava avtomatske krmilnice za male živali s platformo Arduino. Krmilnica je izdelana iz cenovno ugodnih komponent in omogoča doziranje hrane in vode. V omrežje se poveže s pomočjo modula ESP8266. Pripravljena sta bila tudi spletni strežnik in mobilna aplikacija, preko katere lahko uporabnik pošilja zahteve do krmilnice in ureja urnik proženja zahtev. Krmilnica s pomočjo senzorjev ugotavlja, ali sta posodi za hrano in vodo že polni, ter glede na vrednost senzorjev ustrezno reagira na naslednjo zahtevo. V diplomski nalogi opišemo tudi postopek kalibracije senzorjev sile, ki jih uporablja krmilnica in analizo ustreznosti delovanja krmilnice pri dveh različnih tipih briketov. Izdelana krmilnica ustreza vsem zastavljenim ciljem, medtem ko zalogovniki hrane in vode omogočajo vsaj enotedensko oddaljeno hranjenje povprečne mačke.

Automatic pet feeder with Arduino platform |
Secondary abstract: |
In this bachelor’s thesis, we describe the making of an automatic feeder for small pets. The feeder was created using the Arduino platform and dispenses water and dry pet food on request. It connects to the internet with the help of the ESP8266 module. A mobile app and an online server were also developed and allow the user to dispense food or set a feeding schedule remotely. The feeder is equipped with sensors to avoid overfilling the food bowls. The calibration process for the force senor is also described in this thesis. The effectiveness of the feeder was analyzed by using it with two different types of dry pet food. The finished product meets all the objectives and the size of the food and water containers allow for a week of feeding of an average-sized cat. |
