Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava numerično simulacijo kompozitnega krila z namenom izboljšanja njegove togosti. Zajema pregled kompozitov kot materiala ter osnovno teorijo iz tega področja. Izboljšanja togosti se loteva z več variantami in tako podaja primerjavo, kaj je za podan obremenitveni primer najbolj optimalno. Služila bo kot priročnik vsem članom ekipe Formula Student, ki se ukvarjajo s kompozitnimi strukturami, še posebej iz področja aerodinamike.

Secondary title: Stiffness optimization of formula student front wing
Secondary abstract: Diploma thesis discusses the numerical simulation of a composite wing with the intent to improve its stiffness. It includes an overview of composites and basic theory from that field. Stiffness optimization is tackled with multiple variants so that it sets a comparison, what improvement is optimal for the specific load case. The thesis will serve as a handbook for all members of the Formula Student team which deal with composite structures, especially in the field of aerodynamics.
