Secondary abstract: | On the market we can find a variety of different lightweight wood-based composites thet differ in main properties. We used paper honneycomb and foam based core for comparison because they are most widely used as core material. We tested these panels for bending and pressure strength. After analysis we proceeded with designing our own type of core. For our type of core MDF strips and polyurethane foam were used. Panel was tested on bending strength while the bending strength stayed the same at honneycomb and foam core panel. |
