Abstract

Secondary title: Influence of soft factors in software quality
Secondary abstract: Firstly, in this paper we will sort out and categorize the factors that affect the software efficiency. Secondly, a clear definition of all factors, that have influence over software quality, will follow. Furthermore, this paper provides an explanation how quality factors influence software development and the software quality, depending on the quality models such as: McCall, Boehm, CMM, FURPS, Dromey, ISO, etc. Developing life cycle models are compared with each other and the impact of soft factors over software quality is well observed. A lot of attention is payed to the Agile methodologies, due to their based-on-people characteristics and main focus on soft factors. The findings of this study show that soft factors are crucial for the software quality and therefore for further software development a more prior value should be given to them.
