Abstract

V diplomskem delu je predstavljena sprememba postopka izdelave platišč dirkalnika Formula Student iz ogljikovih vlaken, iz postopka s pred impregniranimi vlakni v postopek RTM. V ta namen smo konstruirali primerno orodje za izdelavo platišč po postopku RTM. Konstruiranje orodja je potekalo v več fazah. V prvi fazi je bilo potrebno prilagoditi model platišča, da je primeren za uvedbo postopka RTM, nato je bilo platišče s pomočjo primerjalne simulacije po metodi končnih elementov (MKE) izboljšano do te mere, da ima boljše mehanske lastnosti. Orodje smo konstruirali od idejnih skic do 3D modela. Rezultat tega diplomskega dela je konstrukcija orodja, ki je primerno za izdelavo v fizični obliki in kasnejšo izdelavo platišč iz ogljikovih vlaken.

Secondary title: Design of tool for carbon fiber wheels for formula s car using rtm procedure
Secondary abstract: The aim of this thesis is to change production process of carbon fiber wheels for Formula Student car, from preimpregnated laying up of carbon fibers to RTM process. In order to achieve that a special tool was designed for RTM procedure of laying up carbon fibers. Designing of the toll was divided into more phases. First phase was to adapt the design of wheel itself to be suitable for production with RTM process, then the wheel was optimized with finite element method (FEM) to have better mechanical properties. The toll was designed from early sketches to 3D model. The result of that thesis is a designed toll ready to be machined and ready for production of carbon fiber wheels.
