Abstract
V diplomski nalogi sta opisana delovanje in izvedba pozicioniranja v zaprtem prostoru s pomočjo tehnologije UWB. Ključni del naloge je oddajnik DW1000, ki temelji na tehnologiji UWB, podpira frekvenčne pasove od 3GHz do 6,5GHz in je popolnoma programljiv. Med moduli poteka izmenjava sporočil, pri čemer lahko beležimo čas pošiljanja in prejemanja sporočil ter preračunamo čas preleta signala. Signal UWB potuje s svetlobno hitrostjo. Na osnovi časa preleta lahko določimo razdaljo med dvema moduloma. Za pridobivanje koordinat na podlagi razdalj uporabimo matematični postopek trilateracije.

In this thesis are described functionality and realization of indoor positioning based on UWB technology. A key part is transceiver DW1000, which is based on UWB technology, it supports frequency bands of 3 GHz to 6,5 GHz and is fully programable. Messages are exchanged between the two modules, during which, timestamps are recorded. Based on timestamps from sent and received messages, time of flight is calculated. UWB signal travels at speed of light, this enables us to calculate distance between two modules using time of flight. We need to calculate coordinates, so the data is useful, the method by which we calculate these coordinates is called trilateration. |
