Abstract

Kulturni dnevnik je projekt, ki se je uveljavil v Mariboru. Njegov glavni namen je izobraziti osnovnošolce na področju kulture. Učenci v sklopu projekta obiskujejo različne kulturne ustanove, spoznavajo poklice, ki so povezani z obiskanimi ustanovami, in se udeležujejo delavnic na izbrano tematiko. Način poučevanja učencev izven učilnice ima številne prednosti, kot so na primer več gibanja, ki ga današnji otroci zaradi prekomernega sedenja potrebujejo, pridobivanje informacij z lastnimi izkušnjami in uporaba različnih čutil, učenje v realnih okoliščinah, ki prinaša boljše pomnjenje pridobljenega znanja in mnoge druge. Pozitivni učinki pouka izven učilnice so nas spodbudili k načrtovanju dejavnosti in oblikovanju programa Kulturnega dnevnika na primeru mesta Velenje za učence od 1. do 5. razreda. Načrtovane dejavnosti smo povezali s cilji, ki jih predvidevata učna načrta za spoznavanje okolja in družbe. Učenci skozi načrtovane dejavnosti spoznavajo šolsko okolico, kjer se tudi orientirajo, različne ustanove in njihovo delovanje ter spremembe, ki so skozi čas nastale v Velenju. Seznanijo se z gospodarsko razvitostjo mesta in se srečajo z mladimi podjetniki Šaleške doline. Obiščejo tudi dom za varstvo odraslih, društvo za zaščito živali in društvo, ki se bori proti nasilju. Za nekatere vsebine smo pripravili tudi delovne liste.

Secondary title: Cultural diary in the case of the city Velenje
Secondary abstract: The Culture Diary is a project which was established in Maribor. Its main purpose is cultural education of primary school pupils. Pupils attend different cultural institutions, get familiar with occupations related to these institutions and attend workshops on chosen topics within the project. Teaching pupils outside of their classroom has numerous advantages, for example more movement, which children nowadays need due to spending too much time sitting, getting information first hand through various senses, learning in real life circumstances leads to better memorisation of acquired knowledge and many others. We were encouraged to plan activities and to form a programme called The Culture Diary due to the positive effects on pupils from 1th to 5th class in Velenje. We connected planned activities with the goals for science and social studies curriculum. Pupils get acquainted with and orient themselves in school surroundings through planned activities, they learn about different institutions and their functions, they come to know about the changes through time in Velenje. They learn about the economic growth of the town and meet young entrepreneurs from Šaleška dolina. They also visit a retirement home, the animal welfare organisation and the organisation against domestic violence. We have also prepared some worksheets for certain activities.
