Abstract

V diplomskem delu sem predstavila učinkovitost spremenjene konstrukcije električnega grelnika sanitarne vode, s katero so v podjetju želeli izboljšati energijsko učinkovitost grelnika. Problem pri preračunu in merjenju energije učinkovitosti predstavlja mešanje hladne vode, ki vstopa v grelnik ter vroče vode v grelniku. To so v podjetju želeli odpraviti s konstrukcijo usmerjevalnika toka hladne vode. Izvedla sem dve časovno odvisni simulaciji z usmerjevalnikom, pri katerih sem predpisala različna pretoka hladne vode, ki vstopa v grelnik. Na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov sem zaključila, da je pri takšni prostornini grelnika usmerjevalnik toka hladne vode učinkovita rešitev zgolj pri majhnem pretoku.

Secondary title: Numerical simulation of flow-thermal field of water in an electric water heater
Secondary abstract: I presented the effectiveness of a construction change inside an electric water heater. The change was implemented to improve the energy efficiency of the water heater. The cold water which flows into the heater mixes with the hot water already inside it, which causes problems with measuring and calculating the energy efficiency. The company therefore designed an element to direct the flow of water inside the water heater. I performed two transient simulations in which I prescribed different mass flows. The results showed that the solution is only effective at small mass flows due to the small volume of the heater.
