Abstract

V nalogi smo obravnavali tehnologijo in proces biološke metanacije. Posebno pozornost smo posvetili arheji Methanothermobacter thermautotrophicus in načinom pridobivanja obnovljivega ogljikovega dioksida in vodika, potrebnega za biološko metanacijo biometana. Pridobivanje biometana z biološko metanacijo je učinkovito, še posebej v primeru, ko imamo na razpolago obnovljiv izvor ogljika iz odpadkov, ki zaradi varstva okolja potrebujejo dodatno tehnološko obdelavo, in presežek obnovljive električne energije, iz katere lahko pridobivamo obnovljivi vodik. Kot kažejo izvedeni pilotni projekti, lahko z biološko metanacijo dosežemo do 98 % čistost biometana, ki je primeren za vbrizganje v obstoječa plinovodna omrežja.

Secondary abstract: Jezik: Angleški jezik Naslov: Production of biomethane through biological methanation process Izvleček: In this work we discuss the technology and process of biological methanation. We especially focus on arhaea Methanothermobacter thermautotrophicus and the extraction methods of carbon dioxide and hydrogen used for biological methanation of biogas. The production of biomethane via biological methanation is effective, especially in cases, when we have waste matter as renewable carbon souce, which needs a special technological treatment for enviroment protection reasons and an exes amount of renewable electricity, which can be used for producing renewable hydrogen. Pilot projects have shown that biomethane with 98 % purity can be produced via biological methanation, and the biomethane is suitable for gas grid injection.
