Abstract
Vhodno-izhodne naprave so vse naprave, ki komunicirajo z računalnikom. Kot že samo ime pove, so naprave zmožne pošiljati podatke na računalnik (njegov vhod) in sprejemati podatke iz računalnika (njegovega izhoda). V diplomskem delu smo preučili sestavo in delovanje univerzalnega serijskega vodila (USB), specifikacijo razreda USB namenjeno vhodno-izhodnim napravam in osnovno delovanje le-teh. Prav tako smo preverili varnostne luknje vodila USB s ciljem, da najdemo načine, kako jih najlažje zakrpati oz. se jim izogniti. V praktičnem delu smo nadgradili delovanje orodja Logitacker s svojim programom imenovanim Logitacker Keyboard Decoder.

Input-output devices are all devices that communicate with a computer. As the name suggests, devices are capable of sending data to a computer (its input) and receiving from it (its output). In the thesis work, we examined the composition and the operation of the universal serial bus (USB), the specification of the USB class intended for input-output devices and their basic operations. We also checked the security holes of the USB bus in order to find the easiest way to patch or avoid them. In the practical part, we upgraded Logitacker tool with our program called Logitacker Keyboard Decoder. |
