Abstract

Litje najdemo skoraj v vseh gospodarskih panogah. Največ krat se uporablja za masovno proizvodnjo, ker z njim naredimo veliko serij enakih izdelkov v relativno kratkem časovnem obdobju. Za kakovosten končni izdelek je pomembna pravilna konstrukcija orodja. V diplomski nalogi smo se osredotočili na konstruiranje orodja za tlačno litje aluminijevih zlitin. Zraven konstruiranja, ki je potekalo v modelirniku Creo smo uporabljali program za računalniške simulacije litja Altair Inspire Cast. Glavni namen je bil doseči uspešno simulacijo polnjenja in strjevanja v konstruiranem orodju za tlačno litje. V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali teorijo litja in računalniških simulacij, ter potek konstruiranja orodja in računalniških simulacij litja.

Secondary abstract: Casting is vital to many industries. Mass production very commonly uses casting as it enables the production of numerous identical products in a relatively short period. For the quality of the final product, the right construction of tools is required. In our diploma work, we focused on the construction of tools for the pressure casting of aluminium alloys. The software package Creo was used for the tool construction and the program Altair Inspire Cast for the computer simulations of casting. Our main goal was to achieve successful feeding of the casting cavity and solidification simulation in the constructed tool for pressure casting. In this diploma work, we discussed the theory of casting and computer simulations. Furthermore, we focused on the process of casting tool construction and computer casting simulations.
