Abstract

Secondary abstract: In this project work the results of synchronization of two different measurements are presented, i.e. measurement using measuring scales, and measurement of kinematic and mechanical parameters of the railway sleeper response. The research represents a small contribution to the CRP project, which deals with the production of an innovative railway sleeper. We were engaged in the evaluation of external load at one measuring point on the railway line Divača-Koper. We gave the final result of the research as a graphical presentation of the synchronized results of the two measurements. We found that synchronized measurements correspond to the general laws of structural dynamics of discrete systems with multi degrees of freedom, where the maxima of quantities do not occur simultaneously. Consequently, the maximum load on the railway sleeper occurs at the moment when it takes over the majority of the axle load.
