Abstract

Secondary language: English
Secondary title: Unmanned aerial vehicle as a supportive tool in transportation planning
Secondary abstract: The collection of traffic and mobility data consists of every activity in the process of planning and managing the transport system. Traditional methods are usually time-consuming, expensive and often not accurate enough, so transport experts are looking for solutions to capture traffic and mobility data more quickly, cost-effectively and efficiently on the field, which they can then process with appropriate programs. Such a new option has been offered with the emergence of affordable unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), which can greatly facilitate the recording of events in a combination of image processing programs that allows fast and efficient processing of recorded material.
