Abstract

V nalogi je opisan postopek zasnove in dejanske predelave starega NC frezalnega stroja na CNC krmiljenje. Najprej so podane teoretične osnove frezalnih strojev in delovanje posameznih komponent, ki so potrebne za predelavo stroja. V nadaljevanju je opisana zasnova za nadgradnjo stroja in izrisan 3D model za lažje iskanje rešitev. Tako smo prišli do konstrukcijske zasnove in dejanske vgradnje servomotorjev. Sledi vezava električnih komponent na vhodno-izhodno kartico in nastavitev servo krmilnikov, s programsko opremo krmilnika. Izbrana programska oprema za krmiljenje stroja je Mach3, kjer smo nastavili parametre za pravilno delovanje. Za preizkus delovanja predelanega stroja se je izvedla še geometrijska analiza obdelave frezanja v aluminijevo zlitino.

Secondary title: Design and reconstruction of a milling machine to CNC control
Secondary abstract: This thesis describes the process of design and an actual reconstruction of an old NC milling machine to CNC control. At the beginning of the thesis, we reviewed theoretical foundations of milling machines and how the components, which are required for reconstruction of the machine, work. Further on, a design for an upgrade of the machine and a 3D model were prepared, so we could find solutions easier. Final construction design was made, followed by an actual installation of servomotors. Next, we connected electrical components to the input-output card and set configure the servo controllers with a software provided by the controllers. The chosen software to control the machine was Mach3, in which we have set up the right parameters for its proper operation. At the end, we performed a geometric analysis of milling on an aluminium alloy block.
