Abstract

Secondary title: Systemic propositions for Enhanced sales of Electric Vehicles in Slovenia
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis we focused in more detail on the electric car and its operation. We briefly described the history of the emergence of electric vehicles (hereinafter EV), how they were created and progressed over the decades, who their innovators were, their decline and later re-entry into the market. In the following, we have focused in more detail on car batteries, as they affect sales due to their impact on the environment. In the following, we focused on Norway as it is the leading manufacturer of EV. We were interested in what measures the state has in place, what their plans for the future are, and what measures EV manufacturers have. We then checked how EV is doing in Slovenia, what are the policies and strategies, what is the Slovenian legislation, subsidies and restrictions, how are Slovenian car manufacturers being marketed when EV is sold and what are the action plans for Slovenia for the future. We then compared the sales statistics of the two countries and, on the basis of it and on the basis of the previous chapters, made systemic proposals for accelerating the sale of EVs in Slovenia. In the continuation of the final part, we also touched on the forecast for the future, what are the speculations for the development of technology in the future, what is in store for us in the coming years. EV technology is undoubtedly the technology of the future.
