Abstract
Eksplozivna rast področja interneta stvari in vseprisotnega računalništva je spodbudilo potrebo po boljšem ekosistemu za integracijo različne strojne opreme. V času pisanja diplomskega dela je večina razvojnih okolij, ki omogočajo združitev različnih razvojnih ploščic, pomanjkljiva na številnih področjih. Posledično je podpora kompleksnejših projektov slaba. Cilj razvojne platforme PlatformIO je združiti razvojne rešitve strojne opreme proizvajalcev v inovativen in bolj produktiven ekosistem. V diplomskem delu bomo primerjali razvojno platformo PlatformIO z ostalimi rešitvami in preverili, ali doseže zastavljeni cilj.

The explosive growth of the internet of things and ubiquitous computing fields prompted the need for a better ecosystem for development board integration. At time of writing, most integrated development environments that unify different platforms are lacking in numerous fields. Consequently, the support of more complex projects is lacking. The PlatformIO development platform aims to unify development boards from different vendors into an innovative and more productive ecosystem. In this thesis, we will compare PlatformIO with other integrated development environments and check if it achieves its set goal. |
