Abstract
The aim of this master thesis with title Film experience in the context of the different audiences was to answer the following; is it better to watch a film alone at home or with an audience in the cinema. To answer this question we prepared an experiment in which there were 42 participants. Participants were divided into two groups; the first group watched the film City of God, that was used for the experiment, at home, the second, watched the film with an audience in the cinema. At the end of the experiment, we compared the results from both groups. We found, that participants who watched the film in the cinema with an audience had a better film-watching experience. The results showed that the participants who watched the film in the cinema were more focused and paid more attention to the story, the characters that appeared in the film.

Osrednji cilj magistrske naloge z naslovom Filmska izkušnja v kontekstu različnega občinstva, je bil poiskati odgovor na vprašanje ali je film bolje gledati sam doma, ali z občinstvom v kinu. Da bi odgovorili na to vprašanje, smo pripravili eksperiment v katerem je skupaj sodelovalo 42 udeležencev. Udeležence smo razdelili na dve skupini: prva skupina si je film Božje mesto, ki smo ga uporabili za potrebe eksperimenta, ogledala v domačem okolju, druga skupina si je film ogledala skupaj z ostalim občinstvom v kinu. Ob koncu eksperimenta smo primerjali rezultate obeh skupin. Ugotovili smo, da so imeli gledalci, ki so si film ogledali v kinu, boljšo gledalsko izkušnjo. Rezultati so namreč pokazali, da so bili gledalci, ki so si film ogledali v kinu, bolj osredotočeni na zgodbo filma in protagoniste, ki so nastopili v filmu. |
