| Secondary abstract: | This master thesis presents system services which are necesary to ensure the stability of power system. Given is a description of Slovenian power system. Based on this model we performed numerical calculations. To the used model of Slovenian power system we added a control system of frequency control and a battery energy storage system. We tested the operation of automatic frequency restoration reserves system service on the model of entire Slovenian power system which also includes interstate connections. The operation of the control system with the battery energy storage system was also tested in the island mode operation of a part of the Slovenian power system to ensure frequency stability in the island mode operation. |
