diplomsko delo
Abstract

Challenges of personal assistants |
Secondary abstract: |
In my graduation thesis I've been researching challenges that personal assistants face in their work. As part of this, I researched what the content of their work is, which part of their job brings them pleasure, and which part of their job brings challenges. I was curious to find out about the cooperation with users and other participants, who appear as part of this work - their parents or legal guardians and their employers, who are registered contractors of personal assistance. I also wanted to know about their support system, and where they see contradictions and a chance for changes and improvement in the field of personal assistance. I gathered the interviewees through a Facebook group dedicated to personal assistance and through personal acquaintances. I cooperated with 5 individuals, who work in the field of personal assistance in the Republic of Slovenia. I then qualitatively processed acquired material. |
