Abstract

Naloga obravnava pregled obstoječih numeričnih metod za trdnostne analize valovitega kartona, na podlagi katerih lahko sklepamo, pri kakšni obremenitvi bi prišlo do porušitve. Hkrati so rezultati analiz validirani z uporabo enostavnega eksperimentalnega testa. Analize porušitve materiala so narejene s pomočjo Tsai-Wu porušitvene hipoteze, porušitve strukture pa so izvedene s pomočjo uklonskih analiz. V delu so predstavljene potrebne priprave modelov in vhodnih podatkov za numerične simulacije. Eksperimentalni rezultati kažejo, da z ustrezno pripravo numeričnih modelov dobimo primerljive numerične rezultate.

Secondary title: Development of a FEM model for computer aided design of corrugated carton products
Secondary abstract: This thesis deals with the review of existing numerical methods for strength analysis of corrugated carton, on the basis of which we can predict at what load the failure would occur. At the same time, the results of the analysis are validated, using a simple experimental test. Material failure analysis are performed, using the Tsai-Wu failure hypothesis, and structure failures are performed, using buckling analysis. This work presents the necessary preparations of models and input data for numerical simulations. The experimental results show, that with proper preparation of numerical models, we get comparable numerical results.
