Abstract

Zobniki so pogosto uporabljeni strojniški elementi.

Secondary title: A method development for evaluating the surface wear of gears based on images
Secondary abstract: Gears are commonly used mechanical elements. Understanding wear is important in designing gears to withstand long-term and maximum loads. For this purpose, we need a tool with which the wear in relation to an identical, unused gear can be easily and quickly evaluated. The tool developed in this task is based on a method that applies sampling and computational processing of digital images in order to identify the surface of the scanned object or gear and then compare the surface of worn and unused gears. The desired result is to obtain the average wear of a tooth, which can then be used as a basis for further analysis of the applied gears.
