Abstract
V prvem delu diplomskega projekta smo opredelili pojma čustvena inteligenca in komunikacija na delovnem mestu. Predstavili smo tudi sposobnosti čustvene inteligence in komunikacijske sposobnosti ter njuno uporabo na delovnem mestu. Kot ugotavljajo različni avtorji, sta pojma prepletena in neločljivo povezana. V drugem delu pa je bil cilj na podlagi teoretičnih spoznanj oblikovati anketni vprašalnik, s pomočjo katerega smo raziskali sposobnosti čustvene inteligence zaposlenih na delovnem mestu v izbranem podjetju in vpliv čustvene inteligence na komunikacijo na delovnem mestu. Ugotoviti smo želeli tudi, ali je izbrano podjetje čustveno inteligentno. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov in potrjenih postavljenih hipotez smo ugotovili, da imajo zaposleni v izbranem podjetju sposobnosti čustvene inteligence, čustvena inteligenca pa ima vpliv na njihovo komuniciranje na delovnem mestu. Za izbrano podjetje lahko rečemo, da je čustveno inteligentno podjetje. Glede na ugotovljeno vlogo čustvene inteligence pri komunikaciji na delovnem mestu, bi podjetja morala spodbujati čustvene sposobnosti zaposlenih, saj je le-to pomembno za razvoj podjetja in doseganje njegovih ciljev.

Secondary abstract: |
In the first part of the diploma project we defined the concepts of emotional intelligence and workplace communication. We presented the ability of emotional intelligence and communication skills, and their application in the workplace. As noted by various authors, the concepts are intertwined and inextricably connected. In the second part, the aim was to design a survey questionnaire based on theoretical findings, which was used to examine emotional intelligence abilities of employees in the workplace at the selected company, and the impact of emotional intelligence on workplace communication. We also wanted to determine whether the selected company is emotionally intelligent. Based on the obtained results and confirmed hypotheses, we found that the employees in the selected company have the ability of emotional intelligence, and that emotional intelligence has an impact on their workplace communication. We can confirm that the selected company is an emotionally intelligent company. Given the established importance of emotional intelligence in workplace communication, the companies should encourage emotional abilities of employees, as it is important for the development of the company and achievement of its goals. |
