Secondary abstract: | The statistical method of rough surface analysis using spectral moments is presented, with which topography parameters such as asperity density, summit radius and standard deviation of asperity heights of the surface can be calculated. Two engineering surfaces were analysed using spectral moments and the results were compared with deterministic models. |
