Abstract
Novi mediji in z njimi povezane možnosti digitalne distribucije so povzročili številne spremembe na medijskem trgu, ki so med prvimi prizadele tradicionalna časopisna podjetja in jih prisilile k iskanju inovacij. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela najprej proučimo vpliv teh sprememb na oglaševalce, občinstvo in medije same ter povzamemo odziv časopisnih podjetij. Pri tem podrobneje predstavimo večplatformno distribucijo, njen razvoj in učinkovitost. V empiričnem delu z lastno raziskavo in analizo historičnih podatkov ugotavljamo in primerjamo, kako večplatformno distribucijo izvajajo trije osrednji slovenski tiskani dnevniki: Delo, Večer in Dnevnik.

Secondary abstract: |
New media and related options of digital distribution have caused several changes in the media industry, that have among the first affected traditional newspaper companies and forced them to search for innovation. In the theoretical section of this thesis we first study the impact of these changes on advertisers, audiences, and the media themselves, and summarize the response of newspaper companies. We present multi-platform distribution and its development and success in more detail. In the empirical section, we analyse and compare how multi-platform distribution is carried out by the three main Slovenian printed daily newspapers: Delo, Večer and Dnevnik through our own research and analysis of historical data. |
