Abstract

V zaključni nalogi je predstavljena primerjava točkovne in prostorske metode merjenja karakteristik prometnega toka. Kot točkovna metoda je predstavljeno zaznavanje vozil in merjenje njihovih karakteristik z mikrovalovnim detektorjem, kot prostorska metoda pa je predstavljena tehnologija kooperativnega inteligentnega transportnega sistema, katerega osnovni namen je distribucija podatkov, zbranih iz obcestne infrastrukture, v vozila. Podrobno so obrazložene tehnologije, ki jih uporabljajo mikrovalovni detektorji in posamezne enote kooperativnega inteligentnega transportnega sistema. Predstavljeni in analizirani so pridobljeni rezultati iz obeh metod in prometni dogodki, ki jih lahko zaznamo na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov. Razložen je tudi način prepoznave dogodkov na podlagi rezultatov o povprečni hitrosti vozil in možnost avtomatizacije zaznavanja dogodkov, kot je na primer zastoj.

Secondary title: Comparison of pointed and spatial method of measuring traffic flow characteristics
Secondary abstract: This dissertation presents a comparison of point and spatial method for measuring traffic flow characteristics. As a point method, the detection of vehicles and measurement of their characteristics with a microwave detector is presented, and as a spatial method, the technology of a cooperative intelligent transport system is presented. The basic purpose of the latter is distribution of the data collected from road infrastructure to the vehicles. The technologies used by microwave detectors and individual units of a cooperative intelligent transport system are explained in detail. The obtained results from both methods and traffic events that can be recognized on the basis of the obtained results are presented and analyzed. The method of event recognition based on the results of the average vehicle speed and the possibility of automating the detection of events such as congestion are also explained.
