Abstract

V diplomski nalogi sem se osredotočil na kovinske komplekse z bigvanidnimi ligandi. Podrobneje sem predstavil zdravstvene učinkovine, ki temeljijo na bigvanidnem ogrodju, nato pa še njihove kovinske komplekse. Pri kompleksih sem se osredotočil predvsem na strukturne ter biološke lastnosti. Podrobneje sem predstavil predvsem rutenijeve komplekse z bigvanidnimi ligandi ter v laboratoriju naredil tudi dve preliminarni sintezi rutenijevega kompleksa z metforminom.

Secondary title: Synthesis and characterization of ruthenium complexes with biguanide ligands
Secondary abstract: In my dissertation, I focused on metal complexes with biguanide ligands. I presented active substances based on the biguanide framework, and then their metal complexes. In the case of complexes, I focused mainly on structural and biological properties. In more detail I presented ruthenium complexes with biguanide ligands and performed two preliminary syntheses of ruthenium complex with metformin in the laboratory.
