Abstract

Enaminoni so raznoliki gradniki v organski sintezi. Enaminonske derivate običajno pripravimo iz formamidnih acetalov in aktivnih metilenskih spojin. So izredno reaktivni intermediati uporabni v sintezi heterocikličnih spojin. Pri tem se za pospešitev reakcije velikokrat uporabi fotokatalizo. Pri fotokataliziranih pretvorbah gre za pospešitev reakcije v prisotnosti fotokatalizatorja in obsevanjem z vidno svetlobo. Eni izmed najbolj pogosto uporabljenih vidno-svetlobnih katalizatorjev so polipiridilni kompleksi rutenija in iridija, z značilno strukturo kompleksa Ru(bpy)32+ ali Ir(bpy)3+. Ti kompleksi absorbirajo svetlobo v vidnem spektru elektromagnetnega valovanja in dajo stabilna, ''dolgo-živa'' fotovzbujena stanja. Vse reakcije sem spremljala s tankoplastno kromatografijo (TLC). Vsebnost željenih produktov in izhodnih spojin v surovih reakcijskih zmeseh pa sem ustrezno okarakterizirala z 1H NMR spektroskopijo.

Secondary title: Photocatalytic conversions of some 3-(dimethylamino)propanoates
Secondary abstract: Enaminones are considered to be versatile building blocks in organic synthesis. Enaminone derivates, which are usually prepared from formamide acetals and active methylene compounds are highly reactive intermediates useful in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. Photocatalysis is a commonly used manner to speed up the reaction. Many of the most commonly employed visible light photocatalysts are polypyridyl complexes of Ru(bpy)32+ or Ir(bpy)3+. These complexes absorb light in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum to give stable, long-lived photoexcited states. All reactions were analyzed using thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The content of the desired products and the starting materials were characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy.
