Abstract

Izolate gliv smo pridobili z izolacijo iz vzorcev tal različne rabe (trajni nasadi, njive s poljščinami, njive in vrtovi z vrtninami, travniki in gozd) v Sloveniji. V poskusu je bilo uporabljenih 14 izolatov 4 vrst entomopatogenih gliv iz rodov Beauveria in Metarhizium, in sicer dva izolata B. bassiana, en izolat M. guizhouense, pet izolatov M. robertsii in šest izolatov M. anisopliae. Ličinke voščene vešče in mokarja smo inokulirali s suspenzijo spor izolatov entomopatogenih gliv.

Secondary title: Virulence testing of selected isolates of entomopathogenic fungi from the genera Beauveria and Metarhizium against Tenebrio molitor L. and Galleria mellonella L. larvae
Secondary abstract: The efficacy entomopathogenic fungi from two common genera Beauveria and Metarhizium against the larve of greater wax moth and of the mealworm was tested in our research. We had isolates of fungal entomopathogens from different soil uses (permanent crops, fields with crops, fields and gardens with vegetables, meadows and forest) in Slovenia. In laboratory assay, we used 14 isolates of 4 species fungal entomopathogens from genus Beauveria and Metarhizium from those, two isolates Beauveria bassiana, one isolate Metarhizium guizhouense, five isolates Metarhizium robertsii and six isolates Metarhizium anisopliae. In the assay, we infected larvae of wax moth and mealworm. After inoculation assay lasted 16 days. We counted mycosed larvae one, two, three, four, eight, nine, eleven and sixteen days after inocualtion. Higher mortality was shown at more sensitive larvae of the greater wax moth than at the larvae of mealworm in most isolates. The highest morality was shown isolates T2 (100% at wax moth, day 8) and T7 (65% at mealworm, day 16) at fungus M. robertsii, T33 (60% at mealworm, day 10) and T35 (100% at wax moth, day 8) at fungus M. anisopliae and T5 (100% at wax moth, day 8) at fungus B. bassiana. Isolate of fungal entomopathogen Metarhizium robertsii T2 has shown the best results for both insect species (at wax moth 100% after eight days, at mealworm 65% after 10 days).
