Abstract

Namen magistrske naloge je ugotoviti, kaj vpliva na najstniško nosečnost, kakšne so posledice in kateri so preventivni ukrepi za preprečevanje najstniške nosečnosti. V magistrski nalogi sem se osredotočila na različne vidike najstniške nosečnosti. V teoretičnem delu naloge sem ugotavljala, kakšen vpliv ima družbenoekonomski položaj na najstniško nosečnost in njene posledice, kot so na primer nezaposlenost, stigma in prekinitev šolanja. Izpostavila sem tudi nekaj dejavnikov, ki so relativnega pomena v smislu vpliva na najstniško nosečnost, in sicer kulturni normativi, vpliv staršev, vrstnikov, partnerjev in medijev na spolnost in romantična razmerja ter preventivni ukrepi za preprečevanje najstniške nosečnosti in dostopnost do abortusa v Evropi in Sloveniji. Intervjuvala sem osebe, ki so rodile v najstniških letih ter svetovalke. Izvedela sem, da ima družbenoekonomski položaj vpliv na pojavnost in stopnjo najstniške nosečnosti. Starši, vrstniki, partnerji in mediji pa le delno vplivajo na romantična razmerja in spolnost najstnikov. V Sloveniji imajo najstniki dober dostop do kontracepcije in abortusa.

Secondary abstract:	The purpose of the master's thesis is to determine what affects teenage pregnancy, what the consequences are and what the measures to prevent teenage pregnancy are. In my masters thesis, I focused on various aspects of teenage pregnancy. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I identified the impact of the socioeconomic situation on teenage pregnancy and its consequences, such as unemployment, stigma and school dropout. I also highlighted some factors that are of relative importance in terms of the impact on teenage pregnancy, namely cultural norms, the impact of parents, peers, partners and the media on sexuality and romantic relationships and measures to prevent teenage pregnancy and access to abortion in Europe and Slovenia. I interviewed people who gave birth in their teens and counsellors. I learned that the socioeconomic situation has an impact on the incidence and rate of teenage pregnancy. Parents, peers, partners, and the media, however, only partially influence romantic relationships and sexuality among teenagers. In Slovenia, teenagers have good access to contraception and abortion.
