magistrsko delo
Abstract
V sklopu teoretičnega dela magistrske naloge smo pisali o internetu stvari, pametnih mestih in domovih.

With the advancement of technology, we can monitor new products in the market on a daily basis. Lately, we hear or read more and more about the Internet of things, smart cities and homes. These concepts are relatively new, and their uses are innumerable. As part of the theoretical part of the master's thesis, we wrote about the Internet of things, smart cities and homes.
If we start by focusing on the Internet of things; it has made its use in various fields in just a few years. It can be used in the automotive industry, shops, agriculture, pharmacy, smart cities, factories, smart homes and more. The internet of things combines a multitude of technologies that connect devices to each other via networks or signals. We defined the internet of things in more detail in the second chapter. In the next chapter, we focus on smart cities that operate on the internet of things. These cities systematically use digital technologies to improve the city in areas such as energy, competitiveness and to improve the lives of its inhabitants. The last theoretical chapter is about smart homes, the definition of this term and the use of smart solutions for the home.
The master's thesis also contains a research part, where we researched the awareness and use of the Internet of things, smart cities and smart homes among the population of Slovenia. The information was obtained on the basis of a questionnaire, and the results were also analyzed. The findings are very interesting, as they show knowledge of these concepts, as well as the use of smart devices and awareness of these concepts around the world and in Slovenia.
The aim of the master's thesis was to theoretically define the internet of things, smart cities and smart homes and to define their use, and the next goal was to determine the knowledge and use of the Internet of things dimension among the population of Slovenia. |
