| Secondary abstract: | Nowadays knowledge of compiler optimization mechanisms is essential for writing high-performance software. Because the mentioned area is quite complex, it is for- eign to most software engineers. In this work we analyze the optimizations used by C++ compilers. With the help of the software load of the jSO algorithm we perform measurements of the optimization in the generated code. Using these mea- surements we then look for and perform possible improvements to the jSO algorithm implementation. |
