Abstract

Otrok se z mlekom srečuje vse od svojega rojstva, zato je le-to ključna sestavina njegovega življenja. Postane lahko dober sprejemalec okusov, če bo svoje znanje nadgrajeval s tem, da bo spoznaval različna živila, njihovo sestavo, teksturo in okus. Tako smo v okviru diplomskega dela s pomočjo literature raziskali sestavo mleka, priporočila glede hrane v vrtcu in vlogo vzgojitelja pri prehranjevanju v vrtcu. Zasnovali smo aktivnosti, ki temeljijo na spoznavanju in izdelovanju mlečnih izdelkov skupaj z otroki. Tako smo izdelali domače kislo mleko, jogurt in maslo. Ob tem smo zasnovali anketni vprašalnik za vzgojitelje in vzgojiteljice o mleku in mlečnih izdelkih v vrtcu. Ugotovili smo, da je na jedilniku vsaj 2-3 krat tedensko prisotno mleko ali mlečni izdelek in da se vzgojitelji in vzgojiteljice z otroki zelo malo pogovarjajo o mleku in mlečnih izdelkih.

Secondary title: Kindergarten acitivites to intruduce milk as a food source to children
Secondary abstract: Milk is a key nutrient in a child's life. From birth on, children are in contact with it. They can be open to new tastes and foods if they improve their tasting skills by familiarizing themselves with different foods, their composition, their texture, and their taste. With this goal in mind, we examined the compounds of milk, the nutritional guidelines for kindergartens, and the role of the kindergarten teacher in a child's eating behaviour. We designed activities based on getting to know and preparing dairy products together with children. Therefore, we prepared home-made soured milk, yogurt, and butter. Moreover, a survey on milk and dairy products in kindergartens was carried out among kindergarten teachers. The results show that milk or dairy products are served at least two to three times per week and that kindergarten teachers rarely talk to children about milk and dairy products.
