Abstract

V okviru diplomskega dela smo se seznanili z delovanjem arhitekture IP-multimedijskega podsistema in zanj razvili sistem upravljanja video klicev in videokonferenc. Predstavili smo osnovne principe delovanja podsistema, potek komunikacije in prenos podatkov znotraj arhitekture in z zunanjimi komponentami - z dvema ali več odjemalci.

Secondary title: Video Call and Video Conference Management for IP Multimedia Subsystem
Secondary abstract: Within the thesis, we were introduced to the mechanics of the IP Multimedia subsystem architecture and developed a system for managing video calls and video conferences. We presented the basic principle mechanics of the subsystem, communication flow and transmission of data within the architecture and with external components – with two or more clients. With the aid of the cloud-based architecture Clearwater IMS we established an appropriate environment for the implementation of video calls, which we then upgraded with components for video conferences. We described the various technologies and applications which were important for the development of the architecture or implementation of video calls and video conferences. Video calls and video conferences were implemented in a virtual environment.
