Abstract

Secondary abstract: Two projects of digitizing the cultural heritage from the Student innovative projects for social benefit initiative The paper presents two projects of digitizing the cultural heritage of alexandrinians and other groups of women from the Primorska and Notranjska regions. In the first project we have built an on-line data base with places and dates related to the life and travel of alexandrinians to Egipt, whereas in the second project we have prepared a web site with women's transcribed letters. D igital humanities projects can be successfully realized in the frameworks of the Student innovative projects for social benefit initiative: in an interdisciplinary team of students and mentors, with results that are relevant in the local community.
