Abstract

Uvod in namen: Antropometrija je metoda preučevanja razsežnosti telesne sestave. Namen je pregledati znanstvene izsledke o povezavi med antropometričnimi značilnostmi in telesno dejavnostjo kot del fizioterapije. Metode: Pregledane so bile podatkovne zbirke PubMed, Pedro in CINAHL za obdobje zadnjih petih let. Rezultati: Izsledki dokazujejo izboljšanje telesne sestave pri vseh pregledanih meta-analizah ne glede na starost, spol, zdravstveno stanje posameznika in telesno dejavnost. Uporabnost: Strukturirana telesna dejavnost je povezana s telesno sestavo in presnovnimi značilnostmi posameznika. Učinek vadbenih programov na antropometrične značilnosti se razlikuje glede na značilnosti telesne dejavnosti ali kinezioterapevtskega programa. Menimo, da je povezanost kinezioterapije kot del fizioterapevtske obravnave z antropometričnimi značilnostmi izrednega pomena za duet fizioterapevta in klienta/bolnika. Omejitve: V prihodnje bi bilo priporočljivo zajeti raziskovalne izsledke, ki podrobneje opredeljujejo povezovalne fiziološke mehanizme, in raziskati širše jezikovno področje.

Secondary abstract: Introduction and purpose: Anthropometry is a method of studying body composition. The purpose is to study the relationship between anthropometric characteristics and exercise activity as a part of physiotherapy. Methods: Reviewing the PubMed, Pedro and CINAHL databases (2014-2019). Results: A statistically significant improvement in body composition was observed for all meta-analyses after the exercise programme. Usability: Structural physical activity can change individual’s physical composition and metabolic parameters. The effect that an exercise program has on the anthropometric parameters varies depending on the characteristics of the physical activity protocol or kinesiotherapy program. We conclude that the connection between kinesiotherapy and anthropometric characteristics are extremely important for client/patient duet. Limitations: In the future, it would be advisable to cover more detailed research findings that identify the connecting physiological mechanisms and research of a wider linguistic field.
