Abstract

V diplomskem delu je izpostavljen problem socialne izključenosti otrok, ki se vključujejo v vrtce po Sloveniji. Socialna izključenost lahko že v ranem otroštvu negativno vpliva na otrokovo življenje. O problemu, ki se pojavlja vse pogosteje, pa se danes govori premalo. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela je predstavljen vpliv socialne izključenosti na otroka, vloga odraslih, izpostavljene so nekatere skupine socialno izključenih otrok, predstavljeno je tudi dejansko stanje socialne izključenosti v Sloveniji. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati standardiziranega intervjuja, v katerem so sodelovali vzgojitelji predšolskih otrok. Cilj empiričnega dela je raziskati pojav socialne izključenosti v predšolskem obdobju, pogostost pojava, kako se kaže in kateri otroci so največkrat socialno izključeni. Analiza intervjujev je pokazala, da je socialna izključenost prisotna že v predšolskem obdobju otrok, tako v kombiniranih oddelkih kot tudi v prvem in drugem starostnem obdobju. Pojavlja se zelo pogosto in se kaže v vseh delih dnevne rutine.

Secondary title: Social exclusion of children in pre-school period
Secondary abstract: In this undergraduate thesis an issue of social exclusion of children that are not enrolled into Slovenia's nurseries has been highlighted. Social exclusion can have a negative effect on child's life already in early childhood. However, the continuously growing issue is not addressed enough in the present. The undergraduate thesis comprises of theoretical and empirical chapter. In the theoretical chapter the influence of social exclusion on a child, and the role of the adults has been demonstrated. Some groups of socially excluded children have been highlighted, and an actual state of social exclusion in Slovenia has been presented too. In the empirical chapter results of standardised interview have been introduced, in which pre-school teachers have taken part. The aim of the empirical chapter has been to investigate the emergence of social exclusion in the pre-school life era, the frequency of this phenomenon, how it is manifested and which children are most often socially excluded. The analysis of the interviews has shown that the social exclusion is already present in the pre-school life era of children in mixed age groups as well as in groups with young children and groups with older children. This phenomenon occurs very often and is manifested in all stages of a daily routine.
