Abstract
Učinkovitost kolon je odvisna od hitrosti razširjanja vrhov posameznih komponent med potovanjem topila skozi kolono. Ta parameter izrazimo kvantitativno s številom teoretskih podov. To število nam pove, kolikokrat se topljenec porazdeli med fazama pri potovanju skozi kolono.
Velikost delcev, hitrost pretoka, interakcije med delci, dolžina kolone... to so dejavniki, ki vplivajo na učinkovitost in na katere lahko kot uporabniki vplivamo.

Secondary abstract: |
The efficiency of the columns depends on the speed of band propagation of the individual components as the solvent travels through the column. We express this parameter quantitatively by the number of theoretical plates. This number tells us how many times the solute is distributed during the phases along the journey through the column.
Size of particles, speed of flow, interaction between particles, length of column ... these are factors that affect performance and that we as users can influence on them. |
