Abstract

Sposobnost reševanja izoliranega osebja predstavlja ključno vlogo pri zagotavljanju podpore delovanja sodobne vojske. Zaradi napredka tehnologije obrambnih sistemov držav je v primerih reševanja izoliranega osebja potrebna temeljita priprava in aktivacija velikega števila primerno opremljenih in usposobljenih reševalnih enot. V diplomski nalogi je proučena trenutna zmogljivost letalskih enot Slovenske vojske v sistemu reševanja izoliranega osebja za potrebe operativnega delovanja v sklopu zveze NATO. Predstavljen je pomen zračnih operacij reševanja izoliranega osebja ter trenutna predpisana dokumentacija. Prikazani so ključni parametri delovanja letalskih enot na področju Slovenije. Proučena je njihova trenutna zmogljivost, analizirana so letna usposabljanja, na podlagi katerih je bila ugotovljena njihova stopnja usposobljenosti. Prikazana je primernost reliefa Slovenije za potrebe usposabljanja. Predstavljene so rešitve za nadgradnjo in nadaljnji razvoj letalskih enot pri izvajanju operacij reševanja izoliranega osebja.

Secondary abstract: The capability of conducting Personnel Recovery is crucial in modern day military operations. Due to the technological progression of countries defensive systems a new and improved Personnel Recovery system, with suitably equiped and trained recovery units, is needed. The diploma thesis researches capabilities of the Slovenian Air Force for conducting Personnel Recovery operational procedures in the context of the NATO Alliance. The thesis presents the importance of Personnel Recovery air operations, the current documentation and indicates the key parameters of Air Force units in Slovenia. It researches their performance and analyses their yearly trainings on which their level of qualification is established. The thesis also shows future additons and progress of Air Force units in conducting Personnel Recovery operations.
