Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava prispevek otrok v vrtcu. V prvem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljena teoretična izhodišča prispevka nasploh, prispevek otrok v vrtcu in prispevek otrok v zakonskih podlagah. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, ki sem jo opravila z diplomiranimi vzgojiteljicami in vzgojitelji vrtca Otona Župančiča Slovenska Bistrica. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 48 vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic. Cilj raziskave je ugotoviti, koliko so otroci vključeni v posamezne dele dnevne rutine, pri načrtovanju dejavnosti, opremljanju igralnice in nakupu igrač. Pri tem nas je zanimalo, ali obstajajo razlike glede na delovno dobo vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic in glede na starostno skupino, v kateri delajo. Ugotovili smo pozitiven odnos vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic do prispevka otrok v vrtcu, le majhen delež je takih, ki se niso strinjali, da mora biti vrtec kot del demokratične družbe organiziran po demokratičnih načelih. Ugotovili smo, da večina vzgojiteljev in vzgojiteljic otroke vključuje v načrtovanja dela in dnevne rutine. Glede na starostno skupino, v kateri vzgojiteljice oz. vzgojitelji delajo, prihaja do statistično značilnih razlik. Vzgojitelji oz. vzgojiteljice, ki delajo v drugi in mešani starostni skupini pogosteje vključujejo otroke v sodelovanje pri dnevni rutini in načrtovanju dejavnosti. Glede na delovno dobo vzgojitelja oz. vzgojiteljice ne prihaja do statistično značilnih razlik v pogostosti sodelovanja otrok.

Secondary title: Children's participation in kindergarten
Secondary abstract: The diploma deals with participation of children in a kindergarten. In the first part of the diploma the theoretical basics of participation in general, the participation of kindergarten children and the legal foundation of participation are introduced. In the empiric part, the results of the research done with qualified kindergarten teachers of Kindergarten Oton Župančič Slovenska Bistrica, are presented. Forty-eight teachers participated in the research. The goal of the research was to find out how much the children are involved in separate parts of a daily routine, in planning of activities, in decorating the playroom and in purchasing toys. We were especially interested whether there are differences according to the teachers' years of service and according to the age group they work with. We have detected a positive teachers' attitude towards the participation of the children in the kindergarten, only a small part of them disagreed the kindergarten should be organized by the democratic principles as a part of a democratic society. We discovered that most of the teachers involve the children in the planning of their work and daily routine. According to the teacher's age group statistically characteristic differences occur: the teachers working in the second age group or the mixed age group more often involve the children to cooperate in daily routines when planning activities. According to the teacher's years of service, it does not come to these statistically characteristic differences in the frequency of children's participation.
