Abstract
Politični prevrati, revolucije, gibanja, protesti in nemiri so del svetovne zgodovine.

Political overthrows, revolutions, movements, protests and riots are part of world history. The nation's dissatisfaction with its status and leading elite is only part of a number of complex factors influencing protest action. Interest arises in the analysis of such or similar situations, where the causes and consequences on the "damaged" society, the political system and the environment are explored. In any case against systemic action, in so far as it is only a matter of protests or even something more intense, there is delinquent or even illegal conduct. Quite often certain social groups take advantage of the current situation in the country to turn their frustrations and problems into violent acts that disturb social order and peace. Such and similar unrests are therefore always the target of scientific analysis, where knowledge and methods of different sciences, such as criminology, sociology, psychology, etc., are combined. This research made a significant contribution to a better understanding of social life, its activity and development, while certain key issues remain open. For example, the expert public is still not unanimous regarding the key reason for this transition from protest to revolutionary action, with an emphasis on violence, armed conflict and disregard for key human rights, freedoms and laws, which often opposite sides both strive for. The split in the scientific literature is especially noticeable in the description of the influence of external factors in otherwise "local" unrests. In today's global world, where the flow of information, resources and goods is extremely fast, the consequences of problems in the local environment are soon to be felt in all region or even wider. A rapidly changing world imposes slightly different values and rules, and inhibits some traditional norms, which often leads to conflicts of interest in certain societies and countries. Despite rapid changes in certain areas of human life, however, some key interests and needs have remained the same. The need for dominance, power, and capital has remained the same, only the methods for achieving these goals have changed over time and are more hidden from unaware sight. |
