Abstract

Kadri v podjetju so temeljnega pomena, saj predstavljajo največji potencial in konkurenčno prednost organizacije.

Secondary title: The impact of social changes on human resources in the retail sector of the company Petrol d.d.
Secondary abstract: Human resources in the company play a very important role, as they represent the greatest potential and competitive advantage of the organization. The success and efficiency of a company depend on the management of human resources – planning, developing, training plans, rewarding, and maintaining good interpersonal relationships. In 2008, we conducted the first survey among the employees of the company Petrol maloprodaja d. o. o. In the years that followed the year 2008, the economic crisis arose. It covered the entire world and affected all the branches of the economy. In 2019, therefore, we surveyed for comparison again to determine what changes occurred during this time and why. We were interested in how employees at gas stations and the company see all these changes. In the 2008 survey, we examined how education affects the work quality of employees, how company management sees this, and how their opinion differs from the opinion of employees. We found that the leading cadre is aware of the importance of employees in the development of the company and they appreciate their work. Employees at gas stations are aware of this opinion of managers. This reflects in the system of salaries, rewards, and career advancement. Respondents in 2008 had the opinion that they do not have a significant impact on the development and performance of the company which, however, changed in 2019 where most are of the opposite opinion. A survey in 2019 found that employees with a higher level of education feel greater satisfaction and less stress at work. They are also less afraid of losing their job and are more satisfied with the reward system and interpersonal relationships. A comparison of the results of both surveys gave us some insight into the changes that occurred in the thinking of employees and their status in the company. The results of the survey in 2019 and the comparison of both periods showed that in 2019 employees are more likely to agree with the claim that the increase in the level of education will affect the quality of life as in 2008. We found that the level of education of the employee and the perception of the impact of social change in the company are negatively related and the greater impact of social change is positively related to the desire to be employed in another company.
