Abstract

Secondary title: Analysis of the Research on Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation of Slovenes at Work
Secondary abstract: Work motivation and job satisfaction are amongst most commonly studied phenomena in organizational and work psychology. Despite the amount of effort to thouroughly define and understand both concepts, they are still largely unexplored. Although both are quite often studied separately, the main principle of modern studies is to focus on the inter-correlation amongst the two. The goal of the thesis is to study and understand the current state of these two phenomena in the Slovenian population, firstly from a personal, individual point of view, where I am interested in specifics of motivation and satisfaction amongst specific individually, and secondly from a standpoint of inter-connectedness, where I discuss how they relate to eachother, as well as study differences in motivation and satisfaction between groups of people with diverse demographic predispositions. The research shows a strong link between the studied phenomena and considers the current state of the phenomena amongst slovenian workforce.
