diplomsko delo
Abstract
Ugotovili smo, da mladi v Sloveniji niti so finančno pismeni niti niso, ampak so izrazito indiferentni do upravljanja s financami, niti so finančno odgovorni niti niso, ampak imajo nevtralen odnos do financ. in Vpliv staršev in finančna pismenost mladih sta izrazito nevtralna.

Financial literacy of young people in slovenia |
Secondary abstract: |
We live in a very dynamic and volatile economic environment, which requires economic entities to constantly make business decisions, based on asymmetric information that has different economic effects. There is a need for economic operators to have relatively sufficient knowledge of finance and management if they are to generate adequate cash flows and profits. In academic circles, a special term was formed or. a construct of financial literacy, which unfortunately does not have a uniform definition or is not precisely quantified, but the term roughly means an individual's knowledge and skills in the field of finance and financial risk assessment, with the aim of making appropriate business decisions. In the diploma thesis we researched the state of financial literacy among young people in Slovenia. We found that young people in Slovenia are neither financially literate, are extremely indifferent to financial management, nor are they financially responsible, have a neutral attitude towards finances and parental influence, and the financial literacy of young people is extremely neutral. There is a research gap in Slovenia in the field of financial literacy of young people. Educational institutions should include content on financial literacy in their curricula. Young people need to be motivated to be more financially literate and thus more empowered to make important financial decisions in life. |
