Abstract

Opredeljena je problematika pregledovanja dnevniških zapisov ob izjemno veliki količini podatkov, zbranih v informacijskem oblaku ob povečevanju števila uporabnikov in kosov strojne opreme. Sistem za centralno beleženje dnevniških zapisov nam bistveno olajša iskanje problemov, saj ponuja uporabniku zelo prijazen spletni vmesnik in učinkovito avtomatizacijo ključnih opravil. Poleg tega nam sistem omogoča vpogled v dogajanje tudi, če nam strojna oprema zaradi nepravilnega delovanja ni dosegljiva.

Secondary title: Collecting and analysing large volumes of computer cloud logs
Secondary abstract: The thesis addresses the problem of monitoring large amounts of data that is collected in the computing cloud when the number of users as well as the amount of hardware increase. Therefore, it describes the development of a model that enables a comprehensive and centralised data log collection. It has been indicated, that the manual management of log files is a time-consuming as well as demanding process. Introducing software that can assist in managing log files is therefore of paramount importance. A centralised log collection system also makes troubleshooting much easier as if offers a very user-friendly interface and enables efficient automation of key tasks. The monitoring has also been considered in the case of hardware malfunctions.
