Abstract

Secondary title: Application of the MSA method on a system for testing impact toughness
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis deals with the measurement system analysis (MSA) for testing impact toughness. It begins whit theoretical backgrounds, which are necessary for understanding the topic. I briefly described the procedure of measurement system analysis, in which the measured object is not be destroyed during the measurement and can be measured as many times as desired. The aim of the master's thesis is to analyse a measuring system, in which the measured object is destroyed and cannot be used for re-measurement. Such a measuring system is called complex measuring systems. The thesis describes in more detail the procedure for performing the analysis for complex measuring systems. In conclusion, the results of the measurement system analysis are presented. The results showed that the variation of the measurement system is acceptable depending on the purpose of use.
