Abstract

Secondary title: Firmware development for modular measurement device of physical quantities
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis highlights the development of firmware for a modular and general purpose device that allows the measurement of various physical quantities. The device also allows storing captured values on an SD (Secure Digital) card and transfering data using a wireless Wi-Fi network and/or mobile network (GPRS). The stored data is sent to a remote server and can be displayed in real time using a web platform. When designing the device, the emphasis was on the price of the components, given the existing expensive solutions on the market, and multifunctionality, as the device is for broad use. In the implementation of the code, the emphasis was on optimization, given that the device is battery powered. Circuit development for this device is described in the master's thesis of my colleague Tim Šmit.
