Abstract

V ta namen smo izbrali ogrodji Ionic in NativeScript in zgradili aplikacijo za pregled in urejanje knjižnih polic s pomočjo Google Books API-ja.

Secondary title: Development of Mobile Application using Ionic and NativeScript Frameworks
Secondary abstract: Mobile applications nowadays are very diverse and allow users to do almost anything from playing video games to paying bills. In this thesis, we focused on mobile application development and described how applications are developed. Our main goal was to compare two application development frameworks that enable us to develop cross-platform applications. For this purpose, we used Ionic and NativeScript and created an application for reviewing and editing user's bookshelves with the help of Google Books API. Finally, we tested the applications and analyzed the results. We have concluded that the NativeScript application is loading and running faster compared to the Ionic application while the development in Ionic is easier and offers developers a larger set of debugging tools.
