Abstract

Za ogrevanje prostorov večinoma uporabljamo energetske vire, ki izhajajo iz fosilnih goriv, kar neugodno vpliva na okolje in hkrati predstavlja velik ekonomski strošek. V diplomskem delu povzemam štiri eksperimentalne študije, v katerih so avtorji dokazovali prednosti uporabe materialov s fazno spremembo (PCM ang. phase change materials) v sistemu talnega ogrevanja. V vseh raziskavah so ugotovili, da uporaba pri gradnji zmanjša energetske potrebe za doseganje ugodnih bivalnih pogojev v stavbi, hkrati pa omogoča ekonomske prihranke pri ogrevanju s premikom porabe električne energije v čas nižje tarife za elektriko. Rezultati raziskav kažejo velike prednosti uporabe materialov s fazno spremembo v gradbeništvu. Njihova uporaba ni omejena le na doseganje udobnih bivalnih pogojev v primeru ogrevanja stavb in pri zmanjšanju energetskih potreb za obratovanje takih sistemov, ampak nam kaže tudi na potencialno možnost uporabe tudi pri hlajenju prostorov.

Secondary abstract: For heating, energy sources based on fossil fuels use are prevalent. Not only brings this negative influence on the environment, but also represents high economical costs. In my thesis, I summarise four experimental studies in which authors are discussing the benefits of using phase change materials in floor heating systems. All the studies show that phase change materials lowers the energy needs for achieving comfortable living conditions and allows economical savings by shifting the energy consumption to off-peak periods. Results of the studies shows great benefits in using phase change materials in construction. Their use is not limited to achieving comfort living conditions in aspect of heating but also applies to cooling.
