Abstract

Pravilno zasnovan toplotni ovoj stavbe in toplotna prehodnost konstrukcijskega sklopa le-tega imata pomembno vlogo predvsem z vidika bivanjskega ugodja, varovanja okolja in nizkih stroškov izkoriščanja stavbe ter njene trajnosti.

Secondary title: Analysis of the constructional complexes of the thermal envelope of an apartment building in Vižmarje
Secondary abstract: The correct design of the thermal envelope and thermal transmittance of construction complexes of a buliding are important for the comfort of living, enviomental safety operating costs and coservation of the building. Preserving heat within the buliding and energy conservation have become increasingly important through the years due to a growing tendency to lower the impact on the environment. This tendency is evident in the development of policies and legislation on energy conservation through the years. In this thesis a cronological review of legislation in the field of energy conservation will be presented. The composition of the constructional complexes for a multi unit apartment building in Vižmarje will be determined from the construction plans. Next, the thermal stability of the constructional complexes will be analysed. Thermal transmittance will be calculated for the individual sets/ layers and compared to limits set by energy conservation policies. Compliance of the calculated values of thermal transmittance for the building studied with the limits set by legislation will be determined for legislation valid before the year 2001 during building planning, in the year 2005 after construction of the building and for current legislation. In addition, the calculated thermal transmittance will be used to determine the thickness of thermal insulation required to comply with current legislation. Lastly, the building will be analysed to determine potential thermal bridging and consequent heat loss.
