Abstract

V atletske klube se včlanjuje vedno več otrok, dijakov, študentov in celo starejših. Klubi se vsako leto udeležijo in organizirajo več različnih tekmovanj oziroma mitingov. Na takšne dogodke je velikokrat prijavljenih tudi več sto atletov, zato je dobra organizacija še kako pomembna. Trenutni način organizacije in vodenja manjših, lokalnih tekmovanj ni najboljši, ker klubi nimajo sredstev za najem po navadi dragih strokovnjakov z ustrezno programsko podporo. Sklenjeno je bilo, da se razvije spletna aplikacija, ki bo omogočila boljšo, predvsem pa lažjo organizacijo in vodenje tovrstnih tekmovanj.

Secondary title: Web application to support the organization of athletic competitions
Secondary abstract: More and more children, high school students, college students and even the elderly are joining athletic clubs. Every year, clubs participate in and organize several different competitions or rallies. Hundreds of athletes are often registered for such events, so good organization is very important. The current way of organizing and conducting smaller, local competitions is not the best, because clubs do not have the funds to hire usually expensive professionals with the appropriate software support. It was decided to develop a web application that will enable better and, above all, easier organization, and management of such competitions.
